中文摘要:异构网络的出现满足了日益增长的通信需求,然而异构网络具有基站密度大,种类多,随机部署等特点,引发了人们对其能耗的担忧。基站协作技术通常用于解决基站间的干扰问题。文中主要研究了一种以用户为中心的基站协作方案,并分析了该方案在能效上的表现。在该协作方案中,目标用户通过协作半径来选取各层网络中为其服务的基站,位于协作半径内的基站会协同传输相同的数据给目标用户。首先,使用随机几何的方法对各层基站建模,各层基站均服从独立的齐次泊松点分布,然后针对目标用户,推导出了目标用户平均速率的一般表达式;并在满足目标用户所需的最小的速率的条件下,给出了一个关于能耗的最优化表达式,通过二分搜索算法得到满足目标用户速率时的最优协作半径;最后与传统的同构网络进行了比较,仿真结果表明,在满足相同的目标用户速率时,文中的协作方案在异构网络中相比同构网络所需的能耗更少。

Base station cooperation scheme for energy efficiency in heterogeneous cellular networks
Abstract:Heterogeneous networks satisfy the increasing demand of communication.However,heterogeneous networks with the characteristics of large densities,various types and random deployment raise worries about energy consumption.The base station (BS) cooperation is used as one of solutions to reduce the interference between BSs.This paper studies an user-centric cooperation scheme and analyzes the energy efficiency performance based on the scheme.In the cooperation scheme,the target user selects BSs with cooperative radii.All the layers of BSs within the cooperative cluster jointly transmit the same data to the target user.Firstly,based on the stochastic geometry,the location of BSs in different layers is modeled as independent homogeneous Poisson point process (HPPP) with different intensities.Then,the ergodic rate expression is derived on the proposed cooperation scheme.Furthermore,a power minimization problem with minimum ergodic rate constraint is formulated and the optimal cooperative radii by the binary search algorithm are obtained.Simulation results indicate that the proposed clustering model in heterogeneous networks has better performance on energy consumption compared with the macro-only network.
